Please join us for this all-outdoor Christmas celebration!
Starting at 5 p.m. there will be a homespun live nativity in our parking lot, with Shepherds, Angels, Wise Men, whatever Animals we can round up, and of course the Holy Family. Children are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite nativity character who came to visit Jesus in the manger. We invite all shepherds, shepherdesses, wisemen, animals, and angels (and even little drummer boys)!
There will be general merriment and mayhem around the manger from 5-6ish. Please feel free to bring your favorite hot beverages in a to-go mug or thermos. Hot cocoa and pre-packaged snacks will be provided for the kids.
Starting at 6:30 we will gather around the outdoor fire pit for a rustic and simplified Lessons and Carols service. We will enjoy a time of worship and reflection with scripture and song. Guests are encouraged to bring their own blankets and chairs, and bundle up for the occasion. We should conclude by 7:30.
Please save the date, invite family and friends, and pray for good weather!
Please Note: As with worship, COVID guidelines will be followed. Sign-ups are required, which you can do with the button below. Please sign-in at the table in the Narthex when you arrive.
