Food Details
– Please bring your food to the door kitchen door across from the bathrooms.
– If you have hot food, put it straight into the warming oven.
– Cold food can go in the fridge.
– Bread, desserts, and the like can go on the island.
– Please bring your food ready to serve: pre-slice breads, meats, cakes, etc.
– A tip to have salads ready to serve is to put the dressing on the bottom of the bowl with any crunchy veggies next and lettuce on the top. Volunteers can toss the salad.
– Please bring a notecard with your dish if it is for those with dietary restrictions (GF/DF, etc.)
Kitchen volunteers work quickly after Communion to set the food on the serving tables to be ready by the end of the service, so it helps us if the food is ready to serve.
