Austin grew up in Chennai (Madras), Tamil Nadu, a state in the southernmost part of India. As an information technology software engineer and architect, and has traveled to the U.S. on multiple work assignments since 2004. He and his wife, Bettina, live in Redmond with their two sons. By the grace of God, Austin accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior while studying in college. The Lord affirmed His relationship to Austin as a Heavenly Father. Romans 8:15 gives him comfort and confidence to worship and follow the Lord Jesus Christ: “For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, ‘Abba! Father!'” Austin has been attending CPC since 2007.
