Women’s Fall Retreat

Women’s Fall Retreat

It’s time to register for our Women’s Retreat, being held this October 4-5, 2024, at beautiful Lake Retreat in Ravensdale, Washington.

The theme of the retreat is WHEN WE PRAY: The privilege of communing with God. We will spend part of our time learning from Laura Lanser, a pastor’s wife and mother of three teens who will share with us her biblical insights on prayer. In addition, we will pray, walk the lake trail, relax on the giant porch overlooking the lake, and enjoy some sweet fellowship.

The cost is $150 per person, and includes lodging, meals and snacks. You do need to bring your own linens or sleeping bags.

To register for the retreat, please click here. The registration deadline is September 19th. If you don’t want to pay online, you can mail a check to:
Covenant Presbyterian Church
PO Box 1008
Issaquah, WA 98027
(“Women’s retreat” in the memo line)

Each person who attends must sign a waiver form; you can view a copy here. We will have copies for you to sign prior to arriving at the retreat.

FAQs

Are there dairy and gluten-free meal options?

Yes! Although Lake Retreat cannot provide a fully gluten-free facility, they have a selection of gluten-free and dairy-free menu options that they will include if we let them know 2 weeks in advance. Please be sure to indicate any food sensitivities you might have on your registration form. We will share these with Lake Retreat and use them for our snack choices. You can view their full Food Service Policy here, but please direct any questions to the Women’s Ministry team via email. We recommend that anyone with severe food allergies bring your own food; refrigerators are available for storage.

What are the sleeping accommodations like?

We’ll stay in Lundgren Lodge which overlooks Retreat Lake; beds are provided, but you do need to bring your own linens or sleeping bags. Note that the retreat setting is a bit rustic, but those who need to may be driven up to the lodge to unload and walk easily in. Cars must be parked in the lower level lot. We will not be assigning rooms; each room contains a full-size bed and 4 bunk beds, but there is enough space that most everyone should be able to have a lower bunk.

Can I come for the sessions and meals, but not spend the night?

Yes; however, at this time we are not able to offer a reduced registration cost for day guests.

I don’t attend CPC. Can I still come?

Yes, please do! We are excited to open this retreat to sisters from our neighboring PCA churches, as well as family and friends.

We look forward to spending this special time together. If you have any questions, feel free to email us.
