Women’s Evening of Prayer (Socially Distanced)

Dear CPC Sisters,

As you probably know, our governor gave religious institutions the OK to gather outdoors with 100 people or fewer. At the same time this week, evangelist Anne Graham Lotz issued a “call for women across America to join together to pray as we meet the conditions” (of the coronavirus). She is asking women to pray at the same time this Sunday afternoon. Here’s a link with more info:  https://www.annegrahamlotz.org/turn-to-jesus/

The women of CPC have been given permission to gather in the parking lot of CPC this Sunday afternoon, May 31, from 5-6 pm to join Lotz and women across America in prayer. We realize this is short notice, but if you would like to join us, please arrive between 4:30-4:45 so we can get situated and be ready to pray at 5. We will form smaller groups of 5-6 (depending on how many women gather), and we will be separated by 6 feet, so we’ll need to lift our voices loudly to the Lord! Also, please note the following:

1. Please bring your own chair to sit in.

2. You will be required to wear a face mask, so please bring your own mask.

3. This is WEATHER PERMITTING!!! If it looks like rain, we encourage you to pray from home at the same time. We’ll send an email by 4:00 pm if we are cancelling, so be sure to check if the weather looks “iffy.”

If you plan to attend, please RSVP to Claudia Helm at clahelm@gmail.com. While we anticipate fewer than 100 women attending, your RSVP will help us know for sure. You can address questions to Claudia as well.

We pray God’s blessing on this time and upon our nation as we, as Believers in Jesus, gather and prayer.

With Love and Blessing,

Claudia Helm & Lisa Irwin
