Metanoia Prison Ministries partners with the church for the discipleship, mentoring, and reintegration of prisoners. This begins with a correspondence course ministry; after a prisoner applies to enroll, he or she is matched with a discipler who has signed up to be paired with an inmate. Metanoia provides curriculum and all correspondence goes through their office to protect the address of the discipler. Through studying together, a relationship is formed between the student and the discipler. After completing the Level One course, a student who is within two years of release is eligible to apply for a Christian mentor who will meet regularly with the student to help prepare a comprehensive plan for reintegration.
