For the Children’s Sake Foundation was started by CPC members Bill and Nancy Price to share God’s love and bring hope to at-risk and orphaned children through Christian education and teacher training. For the Children’s Sake provides professional development for Christian school teachers serving vulnerable children throughout Kenya.
Our Tenkaraki Inkera Demonstration School (which means For the Children’s Sake in Maa) is located in the rural Maasai village of Leboo, near the Tanzanian border. As of January 2024, we have about 100 students attending in 4 classes, Pre-K through Grade 2. We are growing one grade per year.
Sponsorship programs support our primary school for at-risk Maasai students and professional development seminars for Christian school teachers serving impoverished and marginalized children. Our seminars develop a better understanding of ways to effectively teach academics and how to incorporate a Christian worldview to share the Gospel and disciple students.
