Let us not neglect to meet together, as is the habit of some, but let us encourage one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
– Hebrews 10:25
The leadership at CPC has decided to resume regular prayer gatherings, but there are some important changes. With Sunday evening worship now in place, we are moving prayer meeting to Thursday nights. We have also decided to combine them with an extended time of music and worship, in hopes that more of you may come. We are calling these evenings of music and prayer Selah, the biblical term often found in the Psalms, meaning “pause and reflect”.
The first portion will be worship and group prayer, followed by an extended time of music for individual or small group prayers and silent meditation. The room will be warmly lit, and attendees are welcome to come and go as they wish. We will probably conclude by 8:30 or 9. No advance sign-up necessary. Please come and pray with us. We need it now more than ever.
